Section 471.650 - Nature of permanent injunction

If a judgment against the defendants is granted, the court shall order that the place constituting the nuisance be closed for a period not exceeding two years, or closed for a part of said time, and until the owner, lessee, tenant or occupant thereof gives a bond or letter of credit identical to the bond or letter of credit required under ORS 471.645. If any condition of the bond or letter of credit is violated, the whole amount may be recovered as a penalty for the use of the county wherein the premises are situated. In any such suit process to nonresident defendants may be served by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the county having jurisdiction of the injunction proceedings. Notice shall be published once each week for two consecutive weeks or for such time as the court, by order, may prescribe.
