Section 450.650 - Board of directors; terms; qualifications(1) The governing body of a water authority shall be a board of directors of five or seven members.(2) The term of office of a director of a water authority is four years.(3) Any elector residing within the proposed water authority is qualified to be a member of the board of directors of the authority.(4) Notwithstanding subsection (3) of this section, a person who is an employee of a water authority is not qualified to serve as a director of the water authority by which the person is employed. 1987 c.863 §4; 1989 c.809 §2; 1993 c.577 §21
