Section 343.565 - Definitions for ORS 343.565 to 343.595 As used in ORS 343.565 to 343.595:
(1) "Braille" means the system of reading and writing through touch commonly known as standard English Braille.(2) "Student who is blind" means an individual who:(a) Is eligible for special education due to visual impairment; or(b) Has a medically indicated expectation of visual deterioration.1993 c.380 §2; 1999 c.989 §28
