Section 334.035 - Nomination of candidatesExcept as provided in ORS 255.400 to 255.424:
(1) In education service districts having a population of less than 550,000 according to the latest federal census, a candidate for the district board shall be nominated in accordance with ORS 255.235 except as provided in this section. When a candidate is nominated from a zone by a nominating petition, the nominating petition must be signed by electors registered in the zone in which the candidate is a resident and who are qualified to vote in their respective component school districts. When a candidate is nominated at large by a nominating petition, the nominating petition must be signed by electors of the district.
