Section 181A.050 - Oregon State Police
The Superintendent of State Police shall:
(1) Appoint a state police force to be known as the Oregon State Police, consisting of commissioned officers, noncommissioned officers and troopers;(2) Arrange for the examination and enlistment of applicants to the state police; and(3) Establish ranks or grades in the state police.
