Section 181A.487 - Mental health wellness policies for law enforcement agencies(1) As used in this section, "law enforcement agency" means:(a) A city or municipal police department.(b) A county sheriff's office.(c) The Oregon State Police.(d) A police department established by a university under ORS 352.121 or 353.125.(2) A law enforcement agency shall establish a mental health wellness policy for addressing issues related to the mental health wellness of law enforcement officers employed by the agency.181A.487 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 181A or any series therein by legislative action.
