Section 93.312 - Oregon Coordinate System(1) As used in this section, "Oregon Coordinate System" means a coordinate mapping system, composed of three coordinate projection mapping systems known as: (a) The Oregon State Plane Coordinate System of 1927;(b) The Oregon State Plane Coordinate System of 1983; and(c) The Oregon Coordinate Reference System.(2) A description of land that contains coordinates associated with the position of a point on a land boundary must: (a) Use the Oregon Coordinate System;(b) Use one specified zone and system for the entire description;(c) Include coordinate system datum with epoch and zone designation;(d) Use coordinates established by a survey connection to the National Spatial Reference System;(e) Reference a survey of record that reports the accuracy of coordinates at a 95 percent confidence level; and(f) Include distances, bearings, areas and other boundary elements.(3) The Department of Transportation shall adopt rules implementing the Oregon Coordinate System.93.312 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 93 or any series therein by legislative action.
