Section 840-2.25 - Meetings of job-related professional organizations - Leave to attend - Activities excludedA. An employee shall be entitled to take leave with pay not to exceed three (3) days a year to attend meetings of job-related professional organizations of which the employee is a member upon receiving permission from the appointing authority. The denial by an appointing authority or organizational leave shall be in writing and state the reasons for denying said leave.B. The leave authorized by this section shall not be used for lobbying activities which include the lobbying of legislative or executive branch elected officials within state-owned or leased buildings.Okla.
