Section 401 - [Effective 7/1/2024]
A. The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority shall allocate the sum of Four Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,300,000.00) from the Legacy Capital Financing Fund for purposes of the design and construction of the State Capitol Arch, the purpose of which is to honor and memorialize the services performed y the Oklahoma National Guard.
B. The State Capitol Arch shall be constructed upon the following described parcel of real property:

A tract of land lying in the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) and the Northwest Quarter (NW/4) of Section Twenty-seven (27), Township Twelve (12) North, Range Three (3) West of the Indian Meridian, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, being more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of the NE/4 of said Section 27; thence S00°07'01"E along the West line of said NE/4 a distance of 1436.71 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N89°50'42"E a distance of 123.31 feet; thence S04°59'53"W a distance of 309.96 feet; thence S89°50'42"W a distance of 194.19 feet; thence N05°20'12"W a distance of 309.98 feet; thence N89°50'42"E a distance of 126.71 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Containing 68,567.88 Square Feet or 1.574 Acres, more or less.

C. The State Capitol Preservation Commission shall enter into contract with such person, persons, or lawfully recognized entities as may be required in order to construct the State Capitol Arch according to preliminary design documents as prepared by the Architect of the State Capitol.
D. The provisions of Section 187B of Title 73 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall be applicable to the project.
