Section 564.2 - [Effective Until 11/1/2024] Certificate of registration for new motor vehicle salesperson " Penalties

It shall be punishable by an administrative fine not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for any person, firm, association, corporation, or trust to engage in business as, or serve in the capacity of, a new motor vehicle salesperson in this state without first obtaining a certificate of registration with the Oklahoma New Motor Vehicle Commission. The cost of registration for each new salesperson shall be set at Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) to be renewed annually. The cost of registration and any administrative fine is to be borne by the employing entity of the new salesperson. The Commission shall promulgate rules and procedures necessary for the implementation and creation of the registry and the issuance of certificates of registration.
