Section 4-109 - Altering or forging certificate of title - Punishment

Any person who shall alter or forge, or cause to be altered or forged, any certificate of title issued by Service Oklahoma, pursuant to the provisions of this act, or any assignment thereof, or who shall hold or use any such certificate or assignment, knowing the same to have been altered or forged, shall be deemed guilty of a felony, and upon conviction thereof shall be liable to pay a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00), nor more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or to imprisonment in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for a period of not less than one (1) year, nor more than ten (10) years, or by both such fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
