Section 1697 - Owning, possessing, keeping or training dog for fighting - Felony - PenaltyEvery person who owns, possesses, keeps or trains any dog with the intent that such dog shall be engaged in an exhibition of fighting with another dog, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a felony, punishable as provided in Section 1699.1 of this title.
