Section 5101.134 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Rules governing private agency use of system information(A) Notwithstanding any provision of the Revised Code that requires confidentiality of information that is contained in the uniform statewide automated child welfare information system established in section 5101.13 of the Revised Code, the department of children and youth shall adopt rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code regarding a private child placing agency's or private noncustodial agency's access, data entry, and use of information in the uniform statewide automated child welfare information system.(B)(1) The department of children and youth may adopt rules in accordance with section 111.15 of the Revised Code, as if they were internal management rules, as necessary to carry out the purposes of sections 5101.13 to 5101.133 of the Revised Code.(2) The department may adopt rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code as necessary to carry out the purposes of division (A)(2) of section 5101.132 of the Revised Code.(C) Public children services agencies shall implement and use the information system established pursuant to section 5101.13 of the Revised Code in accordance with rules adopted by the department.Amended by 135th General Assembly, HB 33,§130.12, eff. 1/1/2025.Effective Date: 9/21/2006; 2008 SB163 8/14/2008 .This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
