Section 4760.02 - License required to practice(A) Except as provided in division (B) of this section, no person shall practice as an anesthesiologist assistant unless the person holds a current, valid license issued under this chapter to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant. (B) Division (A) of this section does not apply to either of the following: (1) A person participating in a training program leading toward certification by the national commission for certification of anesthesiologist assistants, as long as the person is supervised by an anesthesiologist, an individual participating in a hospital residency program in preparation to practice as an anesthesiologist, or an anesthesiologist assistant who holds a current, valid license issued under this chapter;(2) Any person who otherwise holds professional authority granted pursuant to the Revised Code to perform any of the activities that an anesthesiologist assistant is authorized to perform.Amended by 133rd General Assembly, HB 166,§101.01, eff. 10/17/2019.Amended by 131st General Assembly, HB 64,§101.01, eff. 9/29/2015.Effective Date: 05-31-2000 .
