Section 4757.10 - Administrative rules(A) The counselor, social worker, and marriage and family therapist board may adopt any rules necessary to carry out this chapter.(B) The board shall adopt rules that do all of the following: (1) Concern intervention for and treatment of any impaired person holding a license or certificate of registration issued under this chapter;(2) Establish standards for training and experience of supervisors described in division (C) of section 4757.30 of the Revised Code;(3) Establish requirements for criminal records checks of applicants under section 4776.03 of the Revised Code;(4) Establish a graduated system of fines based on the scope and severity of violations and the history of compliance, not to exceed five hundred dollars per incident, that any professional standards committee of the board may charge for a disciplinary violation described in section 4757.36 of the Revised Code;(5) Establish the amount and content of corrective action courses required by the board under section 4757.36 of the Revised Code;(6) Provide for voluntary registration of all of the following: (a) Master's level counselor trainees enrolled in practice and internships;(b) Master's level social worker trainees enrolled in fieldwork, practice, and internships;(c) Master's level marriage and family therapist trainees enrolled in practice and internships.(7) In the case of an individual who is voluntarily registered as a trainee under division (B)(6) of this section and who has graduated but not yet completed all requirements for licensure, provide for an extension of the individual's registration for a period of six months beginning on the date of the individual's graduation.(8) Establish a schedule of deadlines for renewal.(C) Rules adopted under division (B)(6) of this section shall not require a trainee to register with the board, and if a trainee has not registered, shall prohibit any adverse effect with respect to a trainee's application for licensure by the board.(D) All rules adopted under this section shall be adopted in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code.
