Section 4731.83 - Medication-assisted treatment; compliance with laws and regulations(A) As used in this section:(1) "Medication-assisted treatment" has the same meaning as in section 340.01 of the Revised Code.(2) "Physician" means an individual authorized by this chapter to practice medicine and surgery or osteopathic medicine and surgery.(B) A physician shall comply with section 3719.064 of the Revised Code and rules adopted under section 4731.056 of the Revised Code when treating a patient with medication-assisted treatment or proposing to initiate such treatment.
