Section 4729.902 - Registration renewal(A) A registered pharmacy technician or certified pharmacy technician shall file an application for registration renewal in the form and manner prescribed by the state board of pharmacy in rules adopted under section 4729.94 of the Revised Code. Registrations shall be renewed in accordance with the rules and the standard renewal procedure set forth in Chapter 4745. of the Revised Code. The renewal fee is twenty-five dollars per year.(B)(1) A registered pharmacy technician or certified pharmacy technician who fails to renew registration in accordance with division (A) of this section is prohibited from engaging in the activities authorized by section 4729.91 of the Revised Code.(2)(a) A registration that is not renewed by a date determined under division (A) of this section but has not lapsed for more than ninety days may be reinstated if the applicant does both of the following: (i) Submits a renewal application in a form prescribed by the board in rules adopted under section 4729.94 of the Revised Code;(ii) Pays the renewal fee and a late fee of fifty dollars.(b) A registration that has lapsed for more than ninety days cannot be renewed, but the registration holder may reapply for registration.Added by 131st General Assembly File No. TBD, SB 319,§1, eff. 4/6/2017.
