Section 3937.47 - Cancellation of personal lines insurance(A) As used in this section, "personal lines insurance" means any policy of insurance issued to a natural person for personal or family protection, including basic property, dwelling fire, homeowner's, tenant's, inland marine, personal liability, and personal umbrella liability coverage.(B) When the reason for cancellation of a personal lines insurance policy is nonpayment of premium, the effective date of cancellation shall be not less than ten days from the date the notice was mailed.(C) An insurer may include a notice of cancellation of a personal lines insurance policy for nonpayment of premium with a billing statement.
