Section 3701.926 - Eligibility requirements(A) To be eligible for inclusion in the patient centered medical home education pilot project, a primary care practice led by physicians shall meet all of the following requirements:(1) Consist of physicians who are board-certified in family medicine, general pediatrics, or internal medicine, as those designations are issued by a medical specialty certifying board recognized by the American board of medical specialties or American osteopathic association;(2) Be capable of adapting the practice during the period in which the practice participates in the patient centered medical home education pilot project in such a manner that the practice is fully compliant with the minimum standards for operation of a patient centered medical home, as those standards are established by the director of health;(3) Have submitted an application to participate in the project established under former section 185.05 of the Revised Code not later than April 15, 2011.(4) Meet any other criteria established by the director as part of the selection process.(B) To be eligible for inclusion in the pilot project, a primary care practice led by advanced practice registered nurses shall meet all of the following requirements: (1) Consist of advanced practice registered nurses, each of whom meets both of the following requirements: (a) Is authorized to prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices under section 4723.43 of the Revised Code;(b) Is board-certified by a national certifying organization approved by the board of nursing pursuant to section 4723.46 of the Revised Code as a family nurse practitioner, adult nurse practitioner, adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, women's health nurse practitioner, or pediatric nurse practitioner;(c) Collaborates under a standard care arrangement with a physician with board certification as specified in division (A)(1) of this section and who is an active participant on the health care team.(2) Be capable of adapting the practice during the period in which the practice participates in the project in such a manner that the practice is fully compliant with the minimum standards for operation of a patient centered medical home, as those standards are established by the director;(3) Have submitted an application to participate in the project established under former section 185.05 of the Revised Code not later than April 15, 2011.(4) Meet any other criteria established by the director as part of the selection process.Amended by 131st General Assembly, HB 216,§1, eff. 4/6/2017.Amended by 129th General Assembly, HB 303, §1, eff. 3/20/2013.Renumbered from § 185.06 and amended by 129th General Assembly, HB 487, §101.01, eff. 9/10/2012.Amended by 129th General Assembly, HB 153, §101.01, eff. 9/29/2011.Added by 128th General Assembly, HB 198, §1, eff. 9/6/2010.
