Section 1309.704 - Security interest unperfected before effective date - UCC 9-704A security interest that is enforceable immediately before July 1, 2001, but that would be subordinate to the rights of a person that becomes a lien creditor at that time:
(A) Remains an enforceable security interest until July 1, 2002;(B) Remains enforceable after July 1, 2002, if the security interest becomes enforceable under section 1309.203 of the Revised Code on July 1, 2001, or by July 1, 2002; and(C) Becomes perfected: (1) Without further action on July 1, 2001, if the applicable requirements for perfection under this chapter are satisfied before or on that date; or(2) When the applicable requirements for perfection are satisfied if the requirements are satisfied after July 1, 2001.Effective Date: 7/1/2001 .
