Section 109.111 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Attorney general court order fund
(A) There is hereby created the attorney general court order and settlement fund, which shall be part of the state treasury.
(B) The fund shall consist of money collected or received by the office of the attorney general, on behalf of the state of Ohio or an agency or officer thereof, as a result of an order or judgment of a court or a settlement or other compromise of claims, for transfer to the appropriate fund or funds in the manner provided under section 109.112 of the Revised Code.
(C) All money in the fund, including investment earnings thereon, shall be exclusively transferred as directed by section 109.112 of the Revised Code.

135th General Assembly File No. TBD, HB 101, §803.30 provides in part that the amendments to this section are prospective in their operation and have no effect on an order or judgment of any court or any settlement or other compromise of claims issued, entered, or agreed to before January 1, 2025, even if an amount awarded, adjudged, settled upon, or comprised to has not been received in full by the state or an agency or officer of the state before then.
