Section 50-32-03 - Powers and duties of the departmentThe department shall:
1. Take action and give directions necessary to implement this chapter.2. Establish a method to receive complaints related to assisted living facilities and to forward the complaints to the appropriate agency for investigation.3. Establish rules governing the licensing of assisted living facilities to regulate the application for, approval, denial, revocation, and requirements of a license.
