Section 43-02.2-14 - Criminal penalties1. If by reason of an investigation, the board has reason to believe that any person or firm has knowingly engaged in acts or practices that constitute a violation of this chapter, the board may bring its information to the attention of a state's attorney or the attorney general or other appropriate law enforcement officer who may cause appropriate criminal proceedings to be brought.2. Any person or firm who knowingly violates any provision of section 43-02.2-12 is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
