Section 15.1-21-19 - Summative assessment - Selection - Cost - Exemptions1. Except as otherwise provided, each public and nonpublic school student in grade eleven may take: a. The ACT or an equivalent nationally recognized standardized test approved by the state board of higher education, including the writing test; orb. Three WorkKeys assessments or an equivalent nationally recognized standardized test, recommended by the department of career and technical education and approved by the superintendent of public instruction.2.
