Section 9-5A-8 - State alternative fuel program manager; creation; dutiesA "state alternative fuel program manager" is created in the energy conservation and management division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department, and his duties shall include:
A. promoting, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of state clean alternative fuel transportation programs, including a mass transit demonstration project and other demonstration projects that place New Mexico on the leading edge of new clean fuel technologies;B. coordinating and directing the provisions of the Alternative Fuel Conversion Act [Alternative Fuel Acquisition Act] [Chapter 13, Article 1B NMSA 1978]; andC. mobilizing and coordinating necessary resources and expertise from government, education and the private sector to assist in clean alternative fuel transportation programs and projects.Laws 1992, ch. 58, § 8; 1994, ch. 119, § 13; 1995, ch. 161, § 2; recompiled and amended as 1978 Comp., § 9-5A-8 by Laws 1998, ch. 22, § 1.
