Section 66-5-602 - Electronic credentialsA. The department may issue an electronic credential to a person in addition to a physical driver's license or physical identification card if the department has issued to the person:(1) a driver's license; or(2) an identification card.B. An electronic credential that is not processed through a state-approved application on a device is not a valid electronic credential.C.
