Section 61-3-23.5 - Supervision of psychologist in the prescribing of psychotropic medication by nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialistA. Subject to rules promulgated by the board, a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist may supervise a psychologist in the prescribing of psychotropic medication pursuant to the Professional Psychologist Act [Chapter 61, Article 9 NMSA 1978].B. No later than January 1, 2020, the board shall promulgate regulations for a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist who supervises a psychologist in the prescribing of psychotropic medication pursuant to the Professional Psychologist Act.Added by 2019, c. 19,s. 7, eff. 2/4/2019.
