Section 6-24-11 - Employees; conflict of interest; investigations; bondsA. No employee of the authority shall participate in any decision involving a lottery retailer with whom the employee has a financial interest. B. No employee of the authority who leaves the employment of the authority may represent any lottery vendor or lottery retailer before the authority for a period of two years following termination of employment with the authority. C. A background investigation shall be conducted on each applicant who has reached the final selection process prior to employment by the authority. The authority is authorized to pay for the actual cost of such investigations and may contract with the department of public safety for the performance of the investigations. D. The authority shall bond authority employees with access to authority funds or lottery revenue in an amount determined by the board and may bond other employees as deemed necessary.
