Section 52:7-10.5 - Official stampa. The official stamp of a notary public shall: (1) include the name of the notary public, the title "Notary Public, State of New Jersey," and the notary public's commission expiration date; and(2) be capable of being copied together with the record to which it is affixed or attached or with which it is logically associated.b. If a notarial act regarding a tangible record is performed by a notary public, an official stamp shall be affixed to or embossed on the certificate near the signature of the notary public so as to be clear and readable. If a notarial act regarding an electronic record is performed by a notary public and the certificate contains the information specified in subsection a. of this section, an official stamp must be attached to or logically associated with the certificate.Added by L. 2021, c. 179,s. 14, eff. 10/20/2021.
