Section 52:18A-188 - Means to accomplish dutiesIn order to accomplish the foregoing, the administration or the department, as the case may be, shall:
a. Be responsible for evaluating all requests affecting the information processing facilities of the State including: (1) The acquisition, continuation or alteration of equipment;(2) The use of consulting firms in information processing studies or projects; and(3) The purchase of information processing services;b. Direct the assignment and reassignment of information processing tasks among the various State government information processing facilities;c. Be the organization to represent the State in all intergovernmental matters relating to information processing; andd. Promulgate those rules and regulations which are necessary to effectuate the purposes of this act.
