Section 52:17B-193.1 - Duties of provider relevant to knowledge of child endangerment

A provider of an electronic communication service, as that term is defined in section 2 of P.L. 1968, c.409 (C.2A:156A-2), who, after obtaining actual knowledge of any facts or circumstances concerning endangerment of a child in violation of N.J.S. 2C:24-4, and after reporting that information to the hotline established pursuant to section 3 of P.L. 1998, c. 134(C.52:17B-193), or any successor hotline, shall retain that information for at least 180 days from the submission of the report.
