The authority shall cause a financial audit of its books and accounts to be made at least once each year by certified public accountants pursuant to the "Local Authorities Fiscal Control Law," P.L. 1983, c.313 (C.40A:5A-1 et seq.), and copies thereof shall be filed with the State Treasurer and with the State Auditor.
