Section 4:22-14.9 - Construction of acta. The New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals shall not grant, revoke, cancel, or suspend any charter for a county society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.b. Nothing in P.L. 2017, c. 331(C.4:22-14.1 et al.) shall be construed so as to require a county society for the prevention of cruelty to animals chartered as such as of the day prior to the date of enactment of P.L. 2017, c. 331(C.4:22-14.1 et al.) to surrender any assets to the State, or any political subdivision or other entity thereof.Added by L. 2017, c. 331, s. 33, eff. 1/16/2018.
