A technician as defined in section 2 of P.L. 2008, c. 50(C.26:6-78) may recover a human body part for any purpose specified in P.L. 2008, c. 50(C.26:6-77 et al.). A physician shall not be required to be present during the recovery procedure. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit a physician or other person authorized by law to recover human body parts pursuant to law.
