Section 18A:65-101 - "School of Biomedical and Health Sciences."
a. The schools, institutes, and centers of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, other than the School of Osteopathic Medicine, the entire Stratford campus, the remaining facilities in Camden, and University Hospital, that are transferred to Rutgers, The State University pursuant to section 3 of this act shall comprise a university-wide "School of Biomedical and Health Sciences" within Rutgers, The State University. The School of Biomedical and Health Sciences shall also include the Rutgers University School of Nursing, the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, the Institute of Health, Health Policy, and Aging Research, and University Behavioral Healthcare. Any other schools, institutes, or centers may also be included in the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences as deemed appropriate by the president of Rutgers, The State University. As provided pursuant to section 14 of this act, University Hospital shall continue to serve as the principal teaching hospital for all of the Newark-based schools.
b. The president of Rutgers, The State University, with the consent of the board of governors, shall appoint a chancellor, who shall be a physician, to lead the School of Biomedical and Health Sciences. The chancellor shall be based at Rutgers University-Newark and shall report directly to the president of Rutgers, The State University.

There shall be a provost for Rutgers University-Newark responsible for biomedical and health sciences programs located in Newark and a provost, appointed by the president of Rutgers, The State University, for Rutgers University-New Brunswick responsible for biomedical and health sciences programs located in Middlesex County to report to the chancellor.

c. The School of Biomedical and Health Sciences shall be supported through a separate line item in the annual appropriations act.
