Section 17:9A-267 - Commissioner's powers on ultra vires, unlawful and unsafe practices; reviewA. If the commissioner finds that a bank, or an out-of-State bank with a branch in this State, is violating the provisions of its certificate of incorporation, or is conducting its business in violation of any law of this State or another state where it is transacting business, or in an unsafe manner, the commisioner shall order the bank to cease its ultra vires, unlawful or unsafe practices, as the case may be.B. An order of the commissioner made pursuant to subsection A of this section shall be subject to review, hearing and relief in the Superior Court by a proceeding in lieu of prerogative writ.
