Section 17:11C-17 - Change of address noticea. Nothing in this act or in the "Retail Installment Sales Act of 1960," P.L. 1960, c.40 (C.17:16C-1 et seq.), shall be construed to require a consumer lender or a sales finance company to maintain an office in this State so long as it is qualified to do business here and has a registered agent for service of process.b. Whenever the licensee changes the address of its principal office or a branch office serving New Jersey consumers, it shall file, as part of its notice of address change required pursuant to subsection e. of section 10 of P.L. 1996, c. 157(C.17:11C-10), any documents required of it by regulation.Amended by L. 2009, c. 53,s. 49, eff. 7/31/2010, or the later date approved by the Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development pursuant to the provisions of section 1508 of the federal "Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008," Pub.L. 110-289 ( 12 U.S.C. s.5107 ).
