Section 564-F:21-2110 - Resignation of the Registered Agent(a) A foreign foundation's registered agent may resign as registered agent by filing with the secretary of state a notice of resignation.(b) The notice of resignation may include a statement that the foreign foundation's registered office in this state is discontinued.(c) The secretary of state shall send a copy of the notice of registration to the foreign foundation at the foreign foundation's principal office.(d) The registered agent's appointment shall terminate on the earlier of: (1) Thirty-one days after the filing of the notice of resignation with the secretary of state; or(2) The date of the appointment of a successor registered agent.Added by 2017, 257:47, eff. 10/1/2017. 2017, 257:47, eff.
