Section 71-B:2 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Appointment; Term; Chairman

The members of the board shall be appointed by the governor and executive council for a term of 5 years and until their successors are appointed and qualified; provided, however, that any vacancy on the board shall be filled for the unexpired term. The governor and council shall appoint one member as chairman to serve in that capacity for the duration of his or her term. The executive council shall hold a hearing prior to confirmation according to the procedures under RSA 4:44.
