N.H. Rev. Stat. § 170-A:3

Section 170-A:3 - [Deleted Effective on the date the commissioner of the department of health and human services certifies to the director of the office of legislative services and the secretary of state that 35 compacting states, including New Hampshire, have enacted the 2009 edition of the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children] Designation of Agencies and Officials

The "appropriate public authorities" as used in Article III of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children shall, with reference to this state, mean the department of health and human services and said department shall receive and act with reference to notices required by said Article III. As used in paragraph (a) of Article V of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, the phrase "appropriate authority in the receiving state" with reference to this state shall mean the commissioner of the department of health and human services.

Deleted by 2022 , 324: 2, eff. on the date the commissioner of the department of health and human services certifies to the director of the office of legislative services and the secretary of state that 35 compacting states, including New Hampshire, have enacted the 2009 edition of the Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children.
