Section 706.759 - Taxicab driver prohibited from acting as driver for transportation network company under certain circumstances; termination of employment; exception1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, a person who drives a taxicab as an employee of a person who holds a certificate of public convenience and necessity which was issued for the operation of a taxicab business shall not act as a driver as defined in NRS 706A.040: (a) Using the taxicab provided by his or her employer; or(b) During any time for which the person receives wages from his or her employer for duties which include driving a taxicab.2. A person who holds a certificate of public convenience and necessity which was issued for the operation of a taxicab business may terminate the employment of a person who violates the provisions of subsection 1.3.
