Section 704B.170 - Effect of chapter on certain contracts; duties of electric utilities and assignees concerning certain contracts1. The provisions of this chapter do not alter, diminish or otherwise affect any rights or obligations arising under any contract which requires an electric utility to purchase energy, capacity or ancillary services from another party.2.
