Section 689B.020 - "Group health insurance" defined; authority to provide in certain policies for continuation of certain benefit provisions after death of person in insured group; authority of Commissioner to require filing of form of certificate proposed for delivery in this state of policy made under laws of another state1. "Group health insurance" is hereby declared to be that form of health insurance covering groups of two or more persons, formed for a purpose other than obtaining insurance.2. Any group health policy which contains provisions for the payment by the insurer of benefits for expenses incurred on account of hospital, nursing, medical, dental or surgical services, home health care or health supportive services for members of the family or dependents of a person in the insured group may provide for the continuation of such benefit provisions, or any part or parts thereof, after the death of the person in the insured group.3.
