Section 675.164 - [See Note] Submission and processing of fingerprints
1. The Commissioner may require an applicant for a license or a licensee to submit a complete set of fingerprints when the Commissioner determines necessary.
2. The Commissioner may use the services of the Registry to process and to submit the fingerprints to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, to the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History, to any federal or state law enforcement agency or to any other entity authorized to receive such information for the purpose of conducting a background check of the criminal history of an applicant for a license or a licensee.

Added to NRS by 2021, 2036, effective on the date on which the Commissioner of Financial Institutions notifies the Governor and the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau that the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry has sufficient capabilities to allow the Commissioner to carry out the provisions of chapter 347, Statutes of Nevada 2021, at page 2030
Added by 2021, Ch. 347,§12, eff. on the date on which the Commissioner of Financial Institutions notifies the Governor and the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau that the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry has sufficient capabilities to allow the Commissioner to carry out the amendatory provisions for all other purposes.
