Section 642.416 - Renewal of license as funeral director: Continuing education1. A person licensed as a funeral director must complete 12 hours of continuing education in a field relevant to the funeral industry before renewal of his or her license and maintain proof of completion of those hours for a period of 5 years.2. A person licensed as both a funeral director and embalmer must complete a combined total of 12 hours of continuing education courses to renew both licenses.3.
