Section 642.100 - Requirements for licensing embalmer licensed in another state Reciprocity may be arranged by the Board if an applicant:
1. Is a graduate of an embalming college or a school of mortuary science which is accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education and approved by the Board;2. Is licensed as an embalmer in another state;3. Has practiced embalming successfully for at least 5 years and practiced actively for at least 2 years of the 5-year period immediately preceding the application for a license by reciprocity;4. Is of good moral character;5. Has passed the examination given by the Board on the subjects set forth in subsection 5 of NRS 642.090 or the national examination given by the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards;6. Possesses knowledge of the applicable statutes and regulations of this State governing embalmers; and7.
