Section 633.466 - Supervision of physician assistant who does not hold certain simultaneous license by physician licensed by Board of Medical Examiners; joint regulations1. A physician assistant who does not hold a simultaneous license to practice as a physician assistant pursuant to the provisions of chapter 630 of NRS may be supervised by a physician licensed to practice medicine in this State pursuant to chapter 630 of NRS in place of his or her supervising osteopathic physician if: (a) The physician assistant works in a geographical area where the physician assistant can be conveniently supervised only by such a physician; and(b) The supervising osteopathic physician and the physician licensed pursuant to chapter 630 of NRS agree to the arrangement.2. A physician assistant so supervised is not a physician assistant for the purposes of chapter 630 of NRS solely because of that supervision.3.
