Section 604A.640 - [See Note] Expiration, renewal and reinstatement of license; fees1. A license issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter expires annually on the anniversary of the issuance of the license. A licensee must renew the license on or before the date on which the license expires by paying: (a) A renewal fee of not more than $500; and(b) An additional fee of not more than $100 for each branch location at which the licensee is authorized to operate under the license.2. A licensee who fails to renew his or her license within the time required by this section is not licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.3. The Commissioner may reinstate an expired license upon receipt of the renewal fee and a fee for reinstatement.4.
