Section 597.730 - Right to claim or disclaim authorship An artist may:
1. Claim authorship of his or her work of art. The right to claim authorship includes the right of the artist to have his or her name appear on or with his or her work of art.2. Disclaim authorship of his or her work of art if necessary to protect his or her reputation from damage. It is presumed necessary for an artist to protect his or her reputation from damage if his or her work of art is displayed, published or reproduced in this state, without his or her consent, in a defaced, mutilated or altered form and damage to his or her reputation is reasonably foreseeable.Added to NRS by 1989, 193Added to NRS by 1989, 193
