Section 62E.030 - Court to provide certain information to school district concerning certain offenses1. If a court determines that a child who is currently enrolled in school unlawfully caused or attempted to cause serious bodily injury to another person, the court shall provide the information specified in subsection 2 to the school district in which the child is currently enrolled.2. The information required to be provided pursuant to subsection 1 must include:(a) The name of the child;(b) A description of any injury sustained by the other person;(c) A description of any weapon used by the child; and(d) A description of any threats made by the child against the other person before, during or after the incident in which the child injured or attempted to injure the person.3. If a court determines that a child who is currently enrolled in school unlawfully engaged in discrimination based on race, bullying or cyber-bullying, the court shall provide the information specified in subsection 4 to the school district in which the child is currently enrolled.4. The information required to be provided pursuant to subsection 3 must include:(a) The name of the child;(b) The name of the person who was the subject of the discrimination based on race, bullying or cyber-bullying; and(c) A description of any discrimination based on race, bullying or cyber-bullying committed by the child against the other person.5.
